1. Definitions

3. Account Registration

4. Subscriptions & Billing
4.1 Plans and Fees
Writnova offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plan pricing is displayed at Writnova.com/pricing and is subject to change with 30 days' notice.
4.2 Billing Cycle
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, depending on the plan you select. Your billing date is set at the time of first purchase.
4.3 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you authorise Writnova to charge the applicable fees to your payment method. All fees are in USD unless stated otherwise.
4.4 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel from your account settings.
4.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until that date. We do not pro-rate or refund partial billing periods, except where required by law.
4.6 Price Changes
If we change the price of your current plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
4.7 Taxes
Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax, etc.). You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes based on your jurisdiction. Where required by law, Writnova will collect and remit taxes on your behalf.
5. Free Trial
Writnova may offer a free trial period for paid plans. During the free trial:
- No payment is required and no charge will be made unless you choose to continue after the trial ends.
- If you add a payment method and do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged.
- We reserve the right to limit or terminate free trials at our discretion.
- One free trial per person or entity — creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free trials is prohibited.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Writnova only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the Service to:
- Generate, distribute, or publish spam or unsolicited communications.
- Scrape, crawl, or index third-party websites without permission in violation of their terms of service.
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
- Create content that is defamatory, hateful, obscene, or promotes illegal activity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Writnova's systems, servers, or user accounts.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Use the Service to develop a competing product or service.
- Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or security features.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers against the Writnova platform without prior written consent.
Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Writnova's IP
The Writnova platform, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, algorithms, and documentation, are owned by Writnova and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service as permitted by these Terms.
7.2 Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback about Writnova, you grant us an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
8. Your Content
8.1 Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to Content you submit to Writnova. We do not claim ownership of your Content.
8.2 Licence to Writnova
By submitting Content, you grant Writnova a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit your Content solely to provide the Service. This licence ends when you delete the Content or close your account.
8.3 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your Content. You represent and warrant that your Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws, and that you have all necessary rights to submit it.
8.4 AI-Generated Content
Content generated by Writnova's AI tools is provided as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying AI-generated content before publication. Writnova makes no guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, original, or free from intellectual property claims.
9. Third-Party Services
Writnova integrates with third-party services such as Google Search Console, Stripe, and others. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party's terms of service. Writnova is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
Links to third-party websites in the Service are provided for convenience. Writnova does not endorse and is not responsible for any third-party content or practices.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Writnova DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- Any guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Any guarantee that the Service will produce specific SEO results or rankings.
- The accuracy or completeness of any content generated by or displayed in the Service.
SEO results depend on many factors outside Writnova's control, including search engine algorithm changes. We cannot guarantee specific ranking outcomes.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Writnova AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill.
- Damages resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of your Content.
IN ALL CASES, Writnova'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO Writnova IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Writnova and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your Content or the use of your Content by Writnova as permitted under these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account in settings, or by emailing [email protected].
13.2 By Writnova
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Your use of the Service poses a security or legal risk.
- You fail to pay applicable fees.
- We are required to do so by law.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. You may export your data before termination. After termination, we will retain your data for 30 days before permanent deletion, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. You waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in class-action lawsuits.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
If you are an EU consumer, you may also submit a complaint to your local consumer protection authority or the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and display a prominent notice in the application at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The updated Terms will be posted at Writnova.com/terms-and-conditions with a revised effective date.
Your continued use of Writnova after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account.
